Dreamed up phone number leads man to bride.

According to David Brown, of London, England, he woke up one morning with a phone number running through his head. He decided to text the above message to that number, and the young woman who received it somehow decided to respond. After several texts, a phone call, and a letter, they fell in love, and are now married.

But the best part of this article is at the bottom. Professor Heinz Wolff, emeritus professor of Brunel University, says that the probability of a relationship beginning like this is quite high.

“Say for argument’s sake that every 100 phone numbers lead to five girls, the probability of the event they describe is not so remote as you might think. A few thousand to one would be my guess.”

After all, I would add, how we meet and connect with any people in our life is almost as random and mysterious as dreaming up their phone number.

Or as mysterious as the motivation to dress up as a cell phone.
